Born and raised in Banff Alberta, Charly Iverson, known to many as Bud, received his bachelor’s in applied science in Forest Engineering and earned his professional engineering designation while attending UBC in Vancouver. His passion, skill and expertise were apparent to everyone he met, and it was only natural that he pass his love for the forest on to his 3 sons, who have carried on his legacy in forestry services within BC.
In 1990 Bud and his wife established Iverson Forest Management Inc and it has been a family owned and operated business since day one.
The company grew over the years and earned a reputation for upholding the highest standards and professionalism. When Bud decided it was time to retire, his youngest son Dean Iverson took over the reins and became the owner/president of the company.
Iverson Forest Management has over 25 years of experience in forestry consulting and silviculture management. Our team covers the full range of forestry services and includes professional engineers, cruisers, total chance planning, geographic information systems analysts, technical support, and in 1998, IFM added fire suppression services and training.
